Yesterday we stumbled upon a rare special treat for us -- a restaurant big and empty enough to eat out with Little T. As we were walking back to our car from our apt at UCSF, we discovered a diner, one of those places where you order at the counter, then sit down at a table. It could accomodate our double stroller so Little T could sit in the stroller and eat. And no one was around our table to sit near Little T and breathe on him.

We can't put him in a restaurant high chair, because it's full of germs for his immuno-compromised body. I guess we could bring alcohol wipes and wipe down any area of the chair that he touches, or touches food, but I doubt the restaurant owners would ask us to come back. ;) But his stroller has his set of germs, so is Little T friendly.

C and I both ordered eggs with home fries, and toast; C's with sausage, mine with bacon. I had sunny side up and C had over hard. It tasted good and greasy. Little T loved pushing his bits of toast and egg around his stroller tray and even ate some too. He said "Yum! Yum!" a lot and laughed at his sister's funny faces and made raspberries. Special K chowed down, and declared at the end of the meal "This is the best breakfast I've ever had!"
