I was thinking yesterday that I don't write enough positive things here. I think mostly positive things but when I write here, I write a lot of the negative so I can get rid of it. In some ways this is my dumping ground. Some folks write a journal as a showcase for their life and mine has always been more of a dark basement. Well I do also want to record some of the highlights. And some of the highlights as of today include these facts

Special K has just learned to pedal her Cinderella bicycle. She's very proud of it. She gets stuck a lot, but is learning how to get off and push off herself.

Little T is the only child in recorded history that when asked "Do you need a nap?" will answer 'yeah' and mean it. I can then put him in his crib and he will lie down and go to sleep. I am very scared of angering the sleep gods in writing this, but I also feel I must describe this great blessing that has been showered upon me.

Special K still sings lines from her tap dance routine though I've yet to see her dance a single step from it outside from her star performance. It lifts my heart every time. I was so proud of her that day.

The boluses seem to be working. Little T isn't throwing up as much at night and in the morning though unfortunately he still throws up after eating solid food. He seems to be trying more to eat. Unfortunately his endoscopy is scheduled for July 17, so I'll call his GI doctor about putting him on Prilosec in the meantime.

Special K is about the cuddliest 4 year old I know. She runs up and gives me big hugs. When she's tired, she wants to rub my arm.

Those are some beautiful things to write about.

I now know what a bolus is.

(From experience.)
Write what you need to here; it's your journal.
