Due to CCI Team Training and adjusting to life with Hermione, I didn't read LJ from early Feb until now and I'm drowning in volume.

I also need to start working on my non-fiction book again, so less time for LJ. It's hard for me, but I just got another giant call for it. How many more do I need? I also promised myself I would work on it again after I got my service dog. Thought I'd get more of a grace period. Evidently the universe has other ideas.

Welcome new folks!  I've friended those who friended me since I was procrastinating on something else and see most of you are connected to someone else I know on LJ or share something in common with me or my family.

I do ask of course that all my LJ friends not share my locked entries without my permission.  

LJ has a few problems lately.  You may have heard about LJ deleting journals.  And outages.  As a side effect I've noticed when I lock a post it doesn't stay locked.  Last month I had to lock a post literally three times.  It finally appears to have stayed locked.   I'd been somewhat distracted and LJ had yet more problems and it appears to have happened with a recent post.   I apologize to those who read the post and thought it was public.  It was not meant to be.

I used to work in computer security so I tend to think no lock is secure and even in my locked posts I don't use RL names unless the person has given me permission or it's a matter of public record.  Even so it's annoying because I lock posts so people know what I'm writing is meant to be private.
